SILVIS, Ill. – The Indiana University South Bend men's golf team wrapped up its inaugural season tied for sixth place at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship at TPC Deere Run on Monday and Tuesday. The Titans two-day total was a 642 (+74)
In the opening round of the tournament the Titans shot a 322 (+38) which was good for seventh place after day one. Ryan Rapp (SO/Silver Lake, Indiana) posted the low score for IU South Bend with a first-round 77 and in a tie for ninth place.
The Titans improved by two strokes on day two of the championship firing a 320 (+36) which moved them into a tie for sixth place after the final round. Adam Kanczuzewski (JR/South Bend, Indiana) recorded a 79 for a two-day total of 159 which earned him a 23rd place finish. Rapp shot a second round 80 giving him a two-day score of 157 which tied him for 18th place.
Brayden Glaser (SO/Nappanee, Indiana) finished with a score of 162 (82-80) to finish in 29th place while Nick Anglemeyer (JR/South Bend, Indiana) posted a 164 (83-81) for a tie for 33rd place and Broc Maurer (FR/South Bend, Indiana) shot a 182 (87-95) to finish tied for 62nd place.
