SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Indiana University South Bend baseball program and head coach Mike Huling are excited to announce the signing of Jordan Moore and Tanner Wesp for the 2016-17 season.
Moore comes to South Bend from Flat Rock, Michigan where he prepped at Flat Rock High School. A four-year varsity starter and two-year captain, Moore batted .391 with 14 doubles in one homerun in his final season with the Rams.
He was named the team's most valuable offensive player as well as all-conference, and was also named to the Herald News All-Area team.
Wesp prepped at Charlestown High School where he was named defensive player of the year on four occasions and also a three-time gold glove award winner. In his junior and senior seasons, the first baseman was named to the Mid-Southern All-Conference team.
The IU South Bend baseball program finished its inaugural season with a 21-30 overall mark and a 13-17 record in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
The Titans will kick off the 2017 season on March 3rd when they travel to Asbury University.
