ADA, Mich. – After a tough first day at the Egypt Valley Intercollegiate's shooting a 323, the Indiana University South Bend men's golf team moved up five spots to finish 11th out of 19 teams with a two-day score of 630 (323-307).
Brayden Glaser (JR/Nappanee, Indiana) was the low scorer for the Titans shooting a 153 (+9) while Payton Grubbs (SR/Nappanee, Indiana) was just two strokes behind Glaser with a 155 (+11). Grubbs fired a 72 even-par on day two to move up 43 spots after shooting an 83 in the opening round.
Braden Sherwood (SO/Elkhart, Indiana) finished tied for 62nd place with a 160 (+16) and Broc Maurer (SO/South Bend, Indiana) carded a 165 (+21) and John Stack (JR/Goshen, Indiana) rounded out the scoring for the Titans with a 77 after being disqualified in the opening round.
The Titans have a 12 days to prepare for the NAIA Fall Preview at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois on October 17th and 18th.
