ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Indiana University South Bend men's basketball team fell to Robert Morris University Illinois by a score of 83-68 on Saturday afternoon. Avery Harmon (SR/ Broadview, Illinois) led the Titans with 19 points while Myluv Sutton (SO/Fort Wayne, Indiana) added 14 in the loss.
Taylor Brooks (JR/Granger, Indiana) hit a three early in the first half to give the Titans a 3-2 lead, their only lead of the contest. From that point on it was all RMU.
The Titans battled tough during the first half and stayed within striking distance but the Eagles doubled their lead over the last 3:46 and took a 14-point lead into break.
It was all the same in the second half as the Titans could not find an answer for RMU guard Antonio Levy. Levy finished with a game-high 33 points on 13-of-25 shooting.
IU South Bend struggled from long distance hitting at just a 26 percent clip in the loss.
The Titans return to the hardwood on Wednesday as they host Holy Cross College. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on portal.stretchinternet.com/rrsn/
