SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A career night from freshman Baleigh Carithers (FR/Middlebury, Indiana) helped lead the Titans to a convincing 94-49 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph on Wednesday night. Carithers was 7-of-11 from the field and 2-of-4 from the free throw line for a career-high 23 points. All seven of the guard's baskets came from long distance.
Sarah Rogian (JR/Boggstown, Indiana) and Vicki Gard (FR/Schererville, Indiana) each added 17 points, respectively. Brianna Blackwell (JR/Whiting, Indiana) was the fourth Titan in double-figures with 11 points.
IU South Bend shot the ball as well as they have all season, shooting a season-high 56 percent from the field and converting a season-high 13 triples, topping their previous best of 11.
The win moves the Titans to 10-17 overall and 6-12 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
