SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Three Indiana University South Bend women's basketball signees have earned All-State honors as announced by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association on Wednesday.
Kylie Fehrman earned a spot on the Large School All-State (4A, 3A schools) while Courtney Raymer and Taitlyn Trenshaw were both named to the Small School All-State (2A, 1A schools) Honorable Mention team.
Fehrman helped lead the Lake Central High School Lakers to a 19-7 overall record and a 7-0 conference record. The 5'11" forward averaged 13.3 points and four rebounds per game for the Lakers who fell in the second round of sectional action to Gary West Side.
Raymer guided Triton Central High School to a 23-2 overall record and a 7-0 mark in conference action, scoring nearly 12 points per game and pulling down nine rebounds. The Tigers fell in the sectional championship game to the 2016-17 2A State Champion, Eastern High School.
Trenshaw averaged 10 points, 4.7 assistsn, and 4.7 rebounds per game for Northwood High School. The Panthers finished with an overall record of 16-10 and 4-3 in conference action. After beating Wawasee in the opening round of the state tournament, the Panthers fell to Tippecanoe Valley to end their season.
