INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Another tough outing or the Indiana University South Bend men's golf team over the weekend as they finished ninth at the Broadmoor Invitational hosted at the Broadmoor Country Club hosted by Marian University.
The Titans finished with a team score of 653. Mount Mercy University was the winner with a two-day total of 580.
John Stack (JR/Goshen, Indiana) was the top performer for the Titans as he carded a 79 in round one and an 81 in round two for a two-day total of 160, 21 strokes off the lead.
Broc Maurer (SO/South Bend, Indiana) tied for 42nd place with a 163 but had the highlight of the tournament for the Titans as he carded a hole-in-one on the par three 15th.
Other finishers for the Titans included Cameron Millhoff (FR/Greenwood, Indiana) with a 164, Payton Grubbs (JR/Nappanee, Indiana) with a 166, and Hayden Klotz (FR/Nappanee, Indiana) with a 203.
The Titans will return to the links on April 14th as they participate in the Pilot Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Club.
