Rich Leslie (LaPorte, IN) has signed a letter of intent to attend Indiana University South Bend where he will continue his education and athletic career with the men's basketball program, first year head Coach Chad Tapp announced today.

"Rich is a quality individual on and off the court and is the type of student-athlete we want representing our program," head coach Chad Tapp said. "Not only are his athletic achievements outstanding, but his work ethic and loyalty to success make him a perfect fit for the Titans men's basketball program."

Leslie averaged 15.8 points a contest in his senior year and led the Slicers to a 14-8 record.  He lettered all four years as a member of the men's basketball team and was a two year All-Conference Player in the Duneland Athletic Conference.  Known for his deadly 3-point jumper, Leslie netted 1,018 points in his career at LaPorte.  Only five other players in Slicer history have achieved the 1,000 point milestone.

Additionally, Leslie was a three time All-Area Team recipient and was named a Top 100 player his junior and senior years in the state of Indiana.
