Other Titan leaders were Alanzo Bass (Indianapolis, IN) chipped in with ten points, four rebounds and four assists while Chris Beam (Borden, IN), chipped in with eight points and Henry Smith (Auburn Hills, MI) added a team-high nine rebounds.
From the start, the Titans and Cardinals until the Titans got a pair of triples from Steven Heatherly and Beam, followed by a pair of Bass free throws to take an early five-point edge. The Cardinals answered with a quick 5-0 spurt of their own to grab a 12-11 edge at the midway point of the opening half.
The Titans would respond, however, stretching out an eight point edge with two minutes to play, their largest of the half. Andrews responded again, however, getting a last-second three-point shot to pull within three, at 27-24, at the break.
Andrews came out in the second half on an early spurt to take the lead, but the Titans would respond. Both teams traded baskets until the midway point of the second half, when Kaden Krull (Claypool, IN) sparked a Titan run with an inside score. Kyle Heatherly closed the run with another triple to push the Titan lead to 49-40 with six minutes to go, and the Titans would cruise the rest of way, pulling away for the win.
The Titans return to action on Tuesday, December 6, when they travel to Bethel. Tip-off of that game is set for 7:00 PM (EST).
