Chicago, IL- Kyle Heatherly scored a game-high 18 points and played the entire contest while brother Steven Heatherly poured in 12 points as IU South Bend defeated Trinity International University 46-35 on Thursday night. With the victory the Titans snap a three game skid and improve to 10-9 overall on the season.
Alanzo Bass and Henry Smith stepped it up for the Titans in the second half. Bass finished the contest with eight points and six rebounds while teammate Henry Smith tallied eight points and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
The Titans turned up the heat on defense holding the Trojans to just 13-of-44 (29.5%) field goals from the field on and forced TIU into 18 turnovers. This was the lowest output offensively on the year.
