South Bend, IN- Henry Smith scored 20 points and Kyle Heatherly chipped in 15 points, but it wasn't enough as IU South Bend let a 15 point lead with 10:45 left in the second half to Holy Cross College.
 
The Titans held a one point advantage going into the final seconds of the contest before Yama Kader hit a three pointer to put the Saints up 71-69.   The Titans had one last look with 5.8 seconds remaining in the contest but could not get a shot off.
 
With the loss the Titans drop to 10-10 on the season and the Saints improve to 9-12 overall.
Henry Smith led IU South Bend in scoring with 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting.  Teammate Kyle Heatherly scored 15 while Chris Beam chipped in with 11 points.  Alanzo Bass had a game best nine rebounds and tallied nine points in the loss.

Holy Cross College was led by Yama Kader who had a game-high 21 points on 7-of-15 from the field.  JT Breveard added 12 points for the Saint.  Holy Cross shot 49.1% from the field, including 11-23 from beyond the arc.

The men's team will return to action on Wednesday, January 25, when they travel to Roosevelt University.  The contest will be played at Attack Athletics in Chicago, Illinois.  Tip-off off is set for 8:00 PM (EST).
