Chicago, IL- Chris Beam scored a game-high 25 points and teammate Alanzo Bass netted 16 points as IU South Bend defeated Roosevelt University 57-42 in CCAC Conference action.  With the victory the Titans improve to 11-10 overall and sit at 1-1 in conference play.

The storyline of the game was the hot shooting from beyond the arc by the Titans.  IU South Bend connected on 10-of-22 shots from long range and played a solid game defensively holding the Lakers to just 17 points in the final 20 minutes of action.  The Titans continue to play hard nose defense as they held the Lakers scoreless from the field for the first eight minutes in the second half.

The men's basketball team will return to the hardwood on Saturday, January 28, when they host the Cougars from St. Xavier University.  Tip-off is slated for 2:00 PM (EST).  A live video stream of the game will be available at www.iusbtitans.com.
