The IU South Bend Men's Basketball Program will play host to a 64 team basketball tournament over a two weekend period slated for June 15, 16 & June 22,23. This is the second annual event for the Shootout led by the men's basketball coaching staff from IU South Bend.
All games will be played at the Student Activities Center located on the campus of Indiana University South Bend with a tip-time of 10:00 a.m. each day and the last game is slated to tip-off at 5:00 p.m. Teams from all over the states of Indiana and Michigan will compete in the four day tourney bringing some of the finest high school basketball teams to Michiana.
"We are extremely excited to be able to have so many outstanding high school programs on our campus over the course of four days," said head men's basketball coach Chad Tapp. "We are glad we can provide an opportunity for these teams to improve over the summer and at the same time it's a good thing for our program to be able to see so many athletes and familiarize them with our campus, facilities, and all that IU South Bend has to offer."
Admission for the event will be $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
