(South Bend, IN) The IU South Bend men's basketball team earned their first victory of the season beating Goshen College 80-70 on Tuesday night at the Student Activities Center on the campus of IU South Bend.
Six players scored in double figures for the Titans. Quinn Brooks poured in 19 points on 4 of 6 shooting from the field and was perfect from the charity stripe sinking all nine of his attempts.
Mark Comparato played a solid game both defensively and offensively for IU South Bend. Comparato tallied 14 points and played stellar defense for the Titans. Dan Kunde, Dylan Morris and Ben Werner each scored 11 points. Terry Hill provided quality minutes off the bench and scored 10 points.
The Titans shot eight of 17 from 3-point land and outrebounded Goshen 43 to 30. Eric McCollum led Goshen with 21 points and Nate West finished the contest with 14 points.
IU South Bend will be back in action on Thursday night as they host Aquinas College with a start time of 7:00 p.m. at the IU South Bend Student Activities Center.
