(South Bend, IN)  The men's basketball team lost to Aquinas College on Thursday night by the score of 72-55 at the Student Activities Center on the campus of IU South Bend.  The loss drops the Titans to 1-2 on the season.

For the second straight game Quinn Brooks paced the Titans with 14 points on the night.  Junior forward Ben Werner chipped in with 12 points and Terry Hill finished with 8 points for the Titans.  Werner is 38 points away from reaching the 1,000 point milestone as a member of the Titans program.

For Aquinas, John Lierman scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Saints.  Lierman also dished out five assists on the night. 

The Titans will return to action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Central Michigan University to take on the Chippewas in an exhibition contest.  Tip-off time is set for noon.
