The IU South Bend men's basketball team ended regular season action by defeating Trinity International University by the score of 67-52. The Titans finish the regular season campaign with an overall record of 19-11 (16-8 CCAC) and lone possession of third place in the CCAC standing.
IU South Bend took a one point advantage 25-24 into halftime and came out the final 20 minutes dominating on both ends of the court. Senior Steven Heatherly had a game-high 24 points on the night. Heatherly also had six rebounds and dished out five assists in the victory. Sophomore Austin Fox scored 15 points and hauled down six boards. Teammate Mark White was steady at the point chipping in with 7 points, four rebounds and five assists.
The Titans earned a first round bye in the CCAC tournament and will host the winner of Judson University/Purdue University Calumet on Wednesday, February 20th at the Student Activities Center located on the campus of IU South Bend Tip-off is set for 7:30 EST.
