(Indianapolis, IN) The IU South Bend men's basketball team lost to St. Ambrose (IA) 83-67 on Friday night in the Ken Elmendorf Memorial Tournament at Marian University. With the loss, the Titans fall to 1-6 on the season.
Quinn Brooks led the Titans in scoring with 21 points on the night on 5 of 14 shooting from the field and a perfect 10 of 10 from the charity stripe. Ben Werner turned in a solid performance pouring in 20 points on 9 of 13 shooting and pulling down 8 rebounds on the night. Terry Hill chipped in with 9 points for the Titans. The Titans were just 2 of 17 from behind the arc and shot 37.3% overall from the field.
IU South Bend will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they take on Trinity Christian College in the consolation game of the tournament.
