South Bend, IN – The IU South Bend offense exploded for 94 points in a 94-68 win over Trinity Christian on Monday night at the Student Activities Center. Beacher Ward (Indianapolis, IN) led five Titans in double-figures as he scored a career-high 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds.

The Titans would take their first lead of the contest on back-to-back shots from long distance from Brandon Beam (Borden, IN). Beam finished the game with 17 points including 4-of-5 from the three-point line.
The Titans would maintain a lead as the half continued and would see their first double-digit lead with 4:15 left when Chris Beam (Borden, IN) knocked down one of his two three-point baskets.
Controlling the rest of the first half, the Titans took a 46-38 lead into the locker room.
In the first half, the Titans shot 48.5% from the field and connected on half of their attempts from deep.
Brandon Beam had the hot hand in the first 20 minutes as he picked up 15 of his 17 points in the opening frame.
The Trolls would make it a competitive game as they pulled within five points at 54-49 with 15:40 showing on the clock. However, the Titans went on an 8-0 spurt to push their lead up to 13 points with 13:17 to play.
With the score at 62-52 the Titans went on their second big run of the night, this time 12-4 to reach their largest lead of the game, 18 points, with just over nine minutes remaining.
IU South Bend put together their final run of the game with the score 80-64. A 14-4 run is how the Titans would end the contest on their way to a convincing win.
Chris Beam finished the game with 18 points while dishing out six assists in 30 minutes of action. Jordan had an impressive showing, scoring 12 points but handing out a season-high seven assists. Jordan Grant (Gary, IN) produced 10 points and four rebounds off the bench.
The Titans bench scored 45 points in the win. IU South Bend won the battle in the paint scoring 44 points to the Trolls 28.
The Titans will hit the road on Wednesday and travel to the University of St. Francis. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m.
