(Hammond, IN)  The IU South Bend women's basketball team lost to Purdue Calumet on Tuesday night 80-66 at the Fitness Center on the campus of Purdue University Calumet.  With the loss, the Titans fall to 7-2 overall on the season.

IU South Bend took a 34-32 lead into the locker room at halftime; however the Titans could not hold the lead and were outscored 48-32 in the second half.  The Titans committed 33 turnovers on the night and struggled from behind the arc connecting on just 5 of 22 shooting.

Junior Betsy Grogan led the Titans with 17 points before fouling out of the contest.  Junior Katie Hacker finished the game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.  Freshman Courtney Simpson continues to produce for the Titans registering 10 points and 11 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.

MeMe Harris led the Peregrines with 19 points and Stephanie Beck chipped in with 16 points for PUC.
