(Hammond, IN)  The IU South Bend men's basketball team snapped a six game skid and picked up a big win on the road Tuesday night by defeating Purdue Calumet 69-68.  The Titans earned this victory as they battled back in the second half erasing a 14 point deficit.  With the victory the Titans stand at 2-7 on the season heading into the holiday break.

IU South Bend registered four players in double figures and had a balanced scoring attack.  Leading the way for the Titans was Ben Werner who scored a team-high 16 points on 8 of 14 shooting and pulled down 11 rebounds in 37 minutes of action.  Junior Quinn Brook continues to play well for the Titans as he connected on 6 of 11 shooting and poured in 15 points on the night.  Terry Hill chipped in with 13 points and dished out 5 assists.   Mark Comparato pumped in 11 points and Dylan Morris handed out 5 assists on the night.  Dave Clore came up big as well on defense for the Titans coming up with 4 crucial blocks to round out the stat leaderboard for the Titans.

Overall IU South Bend shot 47.5% from the field and played solid defense holding the Peregrines to just 35.5% shooting in the second half.   

Purdue Calumet was led by Neal Hudson who scored 17 points and teammate Kameron Bright chipped in with 13 points for the Peregrines. 

The Titans will be back in action on December 5th as they play host to Siena Heights University at the Student Activities Center.  Tip-off is set for 2:00.
