(Grand Rapids, MI) The IU South Bend men's basketball team dropped to 2-9 on the season after falling to Aquinas College (6-3) on Sunday afternoon in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The contest was knotted up at 30 heading into halftime, but the Saints prevailed by the score of 78-64.
 
Ben Werner led the Titans in scoring on the afternoon.  He tallied a team-high 14 points and pulled down 7 rebounds while dishing out 4 assists on the afternoon.  Werner connected on 4 of 11 shots from the field in 37 minutes of action.  Dylan Morris played quality minutes for the Titans and scored 9 points on 3 of 6 shooting in 16 minutes.   Teammate Terry Hill scored 8 points and had 3 steals while Dan Kunde chipped in with 7 points for the Titans.
 
The Saints had four players register in double figures.  Matt Weiss scored a game-high 16 points and hit 8 of 11 shots from the field.  Teammate John Lierman earned a double-double on the afternoon scoring 16 points and pulling down 10 boards.
 
The Titans will be back in action on Tuesday night at the Student Activities Center as they take on Grace College.  Tip-time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
