SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Indiana University South Bend women's basketball team got back into the win column on Wednesday night when they defeated Andrews University by a score of XX-XX. The win snaps a two game skid for the Lady Titans.
The Lady Titans controlled the game from the start, leading 26-6, 10 minutes into the opening half.
After 20 minutes of action, IU South Bend led 50-9 with all but one player scoring at least a basket.
For the half, the Lady Titans shot 66% from the field and 50% from the three point line.
The second half was all the same as the Lady Titans held the Cardinals scoreless for the first nine minutes of the half and extended their lead to 70-11 midway through the second frame.
Blackwell and Tatyanna Goodson led five players in double-figures with 15 points each, respectively. Maegan Callaway and KiLee Knafel each added 13 points while Stalder chipped in with 10 points. Nichole Sly dished out 10 assists in the win.
For the game, the Lady Titans shot 63% from the field and 47% from downtown. IU South Bend dominated in the paint, scoring 52 of their 94 points.
The Lady Titans will hit the road on Saturday as they travel to Olivet College (MI). Tip-off is slated for 5:00 p.m.
