(South Bend, IN) Indiana University South Bend junior forward Ben Werner (New Paris, IN) led the Titans to an 85-76 victory over conference opponent Holy Cross College last week. His efforts have earned him CCAC Men's Basketball Division I Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 27.

Werner recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds. He made 7-of-16 shots from the field. He also had four assists and a block.

Werner is one of the best players in the league as he leads the CCAC with an 8.4 rebounds per game average and is second with his 15.6 points per game average. The Titans are 4-12 on the year and 1-0 in CCAC conference play.
