SOUTH BEND, Ind. – This weekend marked a special one for the Indiana University South Bend men's golf team as they played in their first match since becoming a varsity sport in 2015. At the Michiana Crosstown Clash hosted by Bethel College at Knollwood Country Club and Elbel Golf Course, the Titans finished in fourth place behind two Holy Cross College teams and Bethel College with a team score of 346 on day one and 335 on day two.
Leading the way for the Titans was Adam Kanczuzewski who finished in 13th place with an 86 on day one of action and a 78 on day two. Right behind Kanczuzewski in 14th place was CJ Kowalski who totaled a 165 with an 81 and an 84.
The Titans returns to the links on September 12 when they travel to the Cameo Pizza Battle at the Brook in Sandusky, Ohio. The weekend will begin with a practice round on September 11 followed by two rounds.
