ADA, Mich. – The Indiana University South Bend men's golf team finished 14th at the Arnie's Collegiate Invitational hosted by Taylor University at Egypt Valley Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. The Titans finished ahead of fellow Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe, Purdue North Central and cross-town rival Bethel College.
After firing a 335 on day one of the tournament, the Titans posted a 338 on day two. Ryan Rapp posted the low round IU South Bend as he tied for 17th with a two round total of 156 (+12).
The host Taylor University took the crown, carding a 604 (+28) for the tournament. However, Mitchell Wandell of Davenport University took the top medalist spot, shooting a one over par (145) with rounds of 70 and 75, respectively.
IU South Bend will wrap up its fall season on October 5th, participating in the 3rd Annual Troll Invitational hosted by Trinity Christian College at Calumet Country Club.
