Womens Basketball Honorary Coaches 
 
In 2008, IU South Bend women's basketball launched its "Honorary Coach Program".

Each home game, one student/athlete invites someone in the IU South Bend family to be a part of our team as an "honorary coach". The honorary coach joins the team in the locker for the pre-game scouting report, halftime, and post game, as well as being an active fan on our bench during the game.

The purpose of the honorary coach program is to recognize those who have had a positive impact in our student/athlete's lives, off of the basketball court.

Each honorary coach is recognized prior to the start of the game and presented with a certificate of "thanks" by the student/athlete.

Our women's basketball program understands the Teamwork involved in striving for excellence and balance in all areas of our lives and wishes to thank the many people who help us along the way!
