The Intramural Sports program is designed to encourage all Indiana University South Bend students, faculty, and staff to participate in organized intramural sports. Intramural sports include a wide variety of individual, dual, and team sport activities aimed at allskill levels, so if you are a first time player looking to learn a sport or a former high school athlete looking to stay physically active and competitive, we have programming for you.
Participation in Intramural Sports programs is completely voluntary. Individuals participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own health and safety.
Intramural Sports stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competitiveness is encouraged while respecting opponents, officials and supervisors.
Getting Involved in Intramural Sports
The majority of intramural sports at IU South Bend require participants to register online. This is particularly true for those wanting to participate in leagues and tournaments. Some activites, such as informal (open) recreation, do not require participants to register.
League and Tournament Registration
Indiana University South Bend Intramural Sports uses imleague.com for individual and team league and tournament registration. All particiapnts must set up an imleagues.com account in order to join a team or register a team or for an individual event. The website has many valuable features including game/event schedules, league scores and standing, email and text announcements and much more. Unless otherwise stated, all intramural sports participants are required to be registered on IMleagues.
